Of the three main internal styles, Xing Yi Quan is the most linear. Where Taiji leads and blends, and Ba Gua Zhang entangles and evades, Xing Yi goes directly to the opponent in an aggressive manner smashing through anything that might be in its path. The 3 main versions of Xing Yi get their name from the places where they were created and modified. They are Shanxi, Henan, and Hebei styles respectively. A very powerful style that seeks to unite the mind and body to produce a formidable Martial Artist.
