Andrew took two students, Alex and Aaron, to China with him to train with his teachers in Beijing for the month of October. It was great fun and everyone really enjoyed themselves and learned a lot. Stay tuned for more pictures soon!
Update: Canada East Wushu sent 3 representitives to the Quebec Wushu Championships in April, 2006. Our coach Andrew was asked to assist in judging and 2 students, Aaron Adams and Mark Music, competed in the Men's Traditional Intermediated category. They won 1st and 2nd places respectively performing Fanzi Quan and Chuo Jiao. It was a wonderful event hosted by Yannick Benoit and his school Quebec Wushu. We hope to return with even more athletes next year. Click here for another image.
April 8, 2006 - Quebec Wushu is holding an open competition and several members of Canada East Wushu are driving to Quebec to take part. As well, Andrew has agreed to judge the traditional wushu component. Check back for updates and pictures from the event.

January 21nd to the 26th - Xing Yi/ Ba Gua seminar. Andrea is very aware that not everyone is suited to every martial art and offered in this seminar the option of instructino in both the internal styles of Xing Yi and Ba Gua, two very different styles which focus on different strengths and present different challenges.
July 9th to July 16th, 2005 - Lu Yan Gun Shu (staff) seminar. Lu Yan came all the way from Beijing and taught an excellent week-long seminar on a Northern Staff form. Everyone who attended was very impressed with her skill level, as well as her approachability.
May 1st, 2nd May, 2005 - Andrea Falk Xing Yi/ Ba Gua seminar. Once again, Andrea continued to deliver her unique brand of martial arts instruction, showing why she is considered to be the hardest working martial artist in North America.
April 30 and May 1, 2005 - Andrea Falk, Xing Yi and Ba Gua Seminar. Everyone enjoyed this physically demanding seminar, an introduction to the five elements of Xing Yi and Xing Yi staff.
